The founder
A career measuring
the world precisely —
now helping people navigate it.
Keith Daniell spent decades solving problems that required extraordinary precision. Brave New Reality is his answer to a different kind of uncertainty.
Keith's story
"I've spent my career turning complex, fast-moving signals into something you can actually act on. That's exactly what people need right now — just applied to their own lives."
Keith Daniell began his career at the cutting edge of precision optics — contributing to the fabrication of mirrors for the Hubble and Chandra Space Observatories, where measurements accurate to nanometres were not a nicety but a necessity. From there he continued his research with a company that built the world's only non-contact semiconductor polishing system, and later contributed to state-of-the-art interferometry and reflectometry equipment at KLA-Tencor. He holds three co-inventor patents and has authored publications on thin films, plasma-induced superconductivity, and optical metrology.
Alongside that career in optics and semiconductors, Keith spent eight years producing healthcare metrics and analytical tools — learning to translate raw, noisy, fast-moving data into clear, actionable intelligence for real people making real decisions.
The thread connecting all of it: in times of rapid change, clarity is the rarest and most valuable resource. Whether it was measuring a mirror accurate to a fraction of a wavelength of light, or flagging a healthcare trend before it became a crisis, the work was always the same — take the overwhelming, filter it precisely, and give people something they can actually use.
Brave New Reality is the natural extension of that work. AI displacement, economic volatility, geopolitical uncertainty — the signals are fast, loud, and often contradictory. Keith built this to be the instrument that helps you read them clearly.

STEM Educator
Teaches children science and engineering concepts — because precision thinking starts early
"The same discipline that measures a space telescope mirror to within nanometres can be applied to the question every person is asking right now: what is actually happening, and what should I do about it?"
What we believe
01
Precision over noise
The world produces more signal than anyone can process. The skill isn't consuming more — it's filtering better. Every feature we build is designed to reduce, not add, to the noise.
02
Personal before general
A policy shift means something different depending on who you are and where you live. Generic advice is often no advice at all. Your guide knows the difference.
03
Clarity enables calm
Anxiety thrives in ambiguity. When you understand what's actually happening and have a concrete next step, the overwhelm recedes. Clarity is the product.
04
Built to be outgrown
A good instrument builds the capability of its user. We want Brave New Reality to make you more resilient over time — not more dependent on an app.
